I am so proud of President Obama. Just one day in office and he is already showing his commitment to fulfil his promises. An executive draft is already in the making ordering closing of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Some of the 245 detainees will be release while others will be transferred elsewhere and later put on trial.
The White house press secretary, Robert Gibbs, said that the president spoke to the leaders of Palestine, Eygpt, Jordan and Israel on telephone and assured them that this adminstration is committed in persuit of Arab-Israeli peace from the begining of the term; he intend to consolidate the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
He also met with senior military and foreign policy official in Situation Room along with the Vice President to discuss the responsible military withdrawl from Afghanistan and Iraq.
This president is certainly going to be a president of peace.

I have a suggestion for President Obama. He can still make similar mistakes if he tried to impose american-interest driven proposal to Afghanistan-Pakistan militancy problem. Pakistani govt. needs to convince Obama and propose options for this militancy problem resolution. I believe President Obama should let Pakistan lead the solution. Now question is who is going to convince Pakistani govt to speak their people's mind ?
